Served as Lead DevOps Engineer in support of Apple Retail's CRM solution. Identified root cause of performance deficiencies in the product and collaborated with the vendor to improve user satisfaction. Designed system architecture for maximum performance, topological stability, and redundancy. Provided operational support to system engineers when diagnosing and addressing problems.
Lead the Retail Engineering DevOps team. Developed workflows to maximize team efficiency. Developed an in-house configuration management system that integrated with Apple internal cloud infrastructure, as well as ticketing and bug-tracking systems. Implemented Nagios monitoring system and site redundancy to maximize uptime and performance.
Provided engineering and operational support for corporate email and LDAP services. Collaborated with external teams to design and implement load balancer policies and firewall rules. Implemented and maintained Nagios monitoring for Email, LDAP, Calendar, and IM. Constructed Secure Email LDAP environment, implemented PAM-LDAP Solaris authentication, and SSL-enabled replication.
