I am a senior executive with a proven track record in hardware product development and expertise in leading multi-national development initiatives. My experience uniquely positions me to champion sustainability principles throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design to reuse. Most recently, I drove hardware platform development that contributed over $20 billion to Cisco's annual revenue, effectively managing diverse teams across five major geographic regions. Beyond my primary role, I held positions on two boards and provided strategic advice to a third investment-backed company, showcasing my ability to deliver impactful leadership in startup and large organizations. Additionally, I represented Cisco's engineering organization on the company's sustainability council. Investor & Advisor: Enterprise, Sustainability and Silicon Technology
Responsible for leading the hardware platform development organization of Cisco's Enterprise and Data Center products lines, including Enterprise Switching (Catalyst), Data Center Switching (Nexus), Enterprise Routing (ASR and ISR), Wireless (Controllers), Computing Systems (UCS), Internet of Things and, Small/Medium Business products. The Enterprise and Data Center hardware team is a worldwide organization concentrated in 5 major development centers across the United States and China. The Enterprise segment is Cisco's most extensive portfolio, accounting for more than $25B of Cisco's overall annual product revenue. In my role as head of HW development, I also work closely with software development leaders, marketing leaders, and customers to drive product roadmaps and next-generation architectures. In addition to driving product development, I am the engineering lead on the team helping to drive Cisco's Circular Economy and Net-Zero initiatives where I help to create programs inside and outside of the company to drive sustainability.
Responsible for the hardware platform development for all of Cisco's switching products lines including Campus (Catalyst), Data Center (Nexus 2K, 5K, 6K, and 7K), Storage (MDS), Small/Medium Business and IoT. These product lines account for more than $13B of Cisco's overall annual product revenue.
Development and P/L responsibility for the Nexus 7000 and MDS 9000 platforms including SW and HW development and Quality Assurance. Driving a multi-billion dollar business and an innovative development team for advanced Data Center platforms and solutions. Led team that was awarded Cisco's Pioneer Award for Value Engineering.
Worked with the senior executive leadership to review product strategy. Represented Cisco as part of its investment in Luxtera. Cisco Acquired Luxtera in February 2019
