Competition Team Captain • Responsible for 46 competition team members and all cybersecurity competition activities, from team training and tryouts to weekly practices and team travel arrangements • Manage team computer lab, develop and deploy vulnerable machines for tryouts and practice, score tryout reports Workshop Coordinator - Responsible for creating the meeting schedule and scheduling workshops, industry speakers, and fun events - Represent the club to students at recruiting events and to local cybersecurity organizations - Create and deliver cybersecurity workshops and hands-on events for students - Assist with other management tasks Member of Cowsay, the competitive team of Cybersecurity Club at UC Davis. - Technical expert for Windows and Active Directory systems - 2nd place CPTC West, 3rd place WRCCDC - Practiced cyber offense and defense while learning professional skills like report writing, communication with non-technical staff, and working under pressure
- Led development for 2 generations of ground control software for liquid rocket engine test stand. - Built and integrated systems to control propellant feed valves, and display/store engine telemetry. - Essential test stand operator, responsible for setting up telemetry server, networking equipment, and all electrical connections. - Learned basic PCB design and soldering (through-hole and surface mount).
- Transformed 50 high school students into confident leaders through acting as a peer mentor and planning/leading icebreaker activities - Promoted the Civic Summer program at my high school during the school year - Responsible for all photo and video for 30 community speakers across a 2 week period, including major Elk Grove civic leaders.
