Also responsible for Systems of Engagement for customers and partners, including Communities, Service, Knowledge and Learning systems, and Release Management.
Since October 2015 I am interim EVP of Product Delivery for NA, managing all Product Management and Product Development resources in North America, with accountability for the whole regional product portfolio of the $800M NA subsidiary of Sage Group Plc.
Reporting to the CFO, responsible for the global Information Technology Organization including the strategy, design, development, and ongoing improvement of information systems, telecommunications, operations and application support. Lead a team of 60 people supporting 33 locations across NA, EMEA and APAC regions. Budget ownership of $12 million, managing IT vendor negotiations on a worldwide basis for the procurement, technical implementation, project management, application management and other IT hardware and software solutions to provide infrastructure technology implementations that solve business challenges. - Restructured IT Organization, resulting in a reduction of IT operating expenses by US$2M. - Negotiated cell phone plans in NA to drive savings on an annualized basis of over $700K - Setup global partnerships with strategic hardware vendors to leverage worldwide pricing and discounts for the company - Designed and implemented a SOX compliance framework for IS that resulted in remediation of over 30 deficiencies and significant deficiencies in IT operations and applications, contributing to remediation of 1 material weakness for the company - Consolidation of seven North America datacenters into a single consolidated highly virtualized datacenter, resulting in considerable savings for the company, and avoiding over $1.5M of capital expenditure - Negotiated and signed a VMWare ELA agreement to execute on consolidation and virtualization strategy for the company, with 52% savings to the company - Implemented a lean IT PMO based on best practices for communication and project management Initiated project for Cisco VoIP infrastructure on a worldwide basis for common communications platform, to drive costs down in a highly dispersed user community - Developed a number of blueprints for corporate Standard Operating Platforms (SOP) in branch offices and consolidated datacenters
