This exposure has provided me with the privilege of expressing complex technological solutions using business references that allow my clients to make key decisions based on the best possible information from all perspectives. I have been a member of the Mount Royal Project Management Advisory Board and past National Board member for itSMF Canada (Service Management Forum for ITIL International), as well as serving as a catalyst for the creation of the itSMF Southern Alberta Branch (SAB) in 2004/2005. I retain membership with a number of IT associations including the International Institute for Business Analysis (IIBA – One of the first individuals to obtain CBAP certification in Canada), itSMF Canada (itSMF-SAB), and the Project Management Institute for Southern Alberta (PMI-SAC). Senior Partner and contributor towards both the organization’s overall strategy as well as the operational execution for the following business functions: -Creation of one of the top 5 National Telus Authorized Dealers with total sales exceeding $1M. -Vision and Execution of the corporate Business Marketing, and Communication plans. -Business process modeling and implementation for client billing and audit services. -Implementation of internal Accounting, Finance, CRM and Payroll processes. -Managing profit and growth plans with an emphasis on vendor, partner, and client relations.
-Management of the extended architecture team consisting of 20 individuals spanning Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal (Laval). -Contribution to the development of service oriented Enterprise Architecture. -Liaising with all project areas and business units in order to coordinate interdependencies. -Creation of new, and improvement of existing business processes. -Vendor relationship and contract management. -Creation of the web based IT balanced scorecard for reporting on the performance of the IT Department to the Executive suite. -Logistical coordination and deployment of the Corporate POS infrastructure. -Design and deployment of the JD Edwards ERP infrastructure, including CITRIX and VPN remote access. -Procurement, Architectural Design and Implementation of the Enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN) technology and logically partitioned IBM P-Series AIX systems.
-Coordinated the construction and release of the IT enterprise reengineering initiative (Renaissance) with a budget of over $25M (CA). This included SDLC change control processes for the warranty system, retail management system, and Oracle Financials. This initiative successfully resulted in significant changes to business processes and ongoing improvements to the bottom line. -Provide guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve various service management related objectives. -Managed the Design and implementation of the Enterprise Data Warehouse technology based on the UNIX / Oracle Vista suite, including Enterprise Document Imaging and Management, as well as the related Data Distribution technology based on MQ Series resulting in significant annual savings as compared to the legacy Print Distribution platform.
