Managed IT team (20 FTE) in an LBO context (Butler Capital Partners) with significant cost reduction pressure. 2008 IT Budget: €5M, 50 agencies across 15 European countries ✅ Restructured IT infrastructure, fully implementing VMware virtualization within 8 months – resulting in a 50% reduction in infrastructure run costs. ✅ Reengineered and replaced the MPLS network with a self-managed VPN solution, including WAN optimization appliances, achieving 30% cost savings and improved performance. ✅ Reorganized the outsourced development team based in Romania. ✅ Led major functional projects in customer billing, collections, and vehicle tracking. Exit : Giraud acquired by GEODIS BM in sept 2010.
Led the company’s SAP Competence Center (10 FTEs) in an LBO context (Clayton Dubilier & Rice). ✅ Business Partner for all business process evolutions. ✅ Project Director for major initiatives: 👉🏻 SAP R/3 upgrade to version 4.7 (FI, CO, SD, MM, WM & HR modules) completed in 6 months. 👉🏻 Digitalization of the field sales force (250 representatives) through the rollout of SAP Mobile Sales on laptops, deployed in 8 months. 👉🏻 Pick & Pack: deployment of handheld terminals across two pilot warehouses in 6 months. ✅ Ensured operational support and maintenance of SAP R/3 for 700 users. Brake France was later sold in July 2007 to the Private Equity firm Bain Capital.

Context: Implementation of a SAP R/3 instance (modules FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM) for Guerlain and Parfums Givenchy – €20M project (~20,000 man-days). ✅ Led a 6-person team responsible for the project’s final acceptance testing phase. ✅ Defined and executed the SAP project test plan, covering more than 50 interfaces to external applications
