Outside of work, I am a former U.S. National Champion in figure skating and now serve as a national figure skating judge.

      UCSF Department of Dermatology Advisors: Wilson Liao, M.D. + Tina Bhutani, M.D., M.A.S. • Conceptualized and executed translational and clinical research projects studying the molecular pathogenesis of inflammatory skin conditions, clinical utility, screening, and outcomes-based recommendations for systemic targeted therapy use, resulting in 11 first-authored publications and additional oral presentations • Projects included: (1) characterizing blood/skin T cell populations to understand developmental trajectories and cell-cell interactions driving psoriasis, (2) examining immunogenetic and allergen sensitivity changes to dupilumab use in atopic dermatitis, (3) identifying molecular pathways dysregulated in atopic dermatitis at different age groups, (4) using Mendelian randomization to identify health behaviors / biomarkers / medical comorbidities causally associated with atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, (5) developing a mobile health app, SkinTracker, paired with wearable tech for remote clinical trial conduction, photo capture for exams, and atopic dermatitis disease monitoring, (6) identifying factors associated with treatment failure of multiple biologics in individuals with psoriasis • Served as lead clinical research coordinator for four investigator- and industry-led clinical trials, managing patient enrollment and visits, study conduct, and collaborations with clinical personnel and study sponsors • Advocated for federal policy change (2021-2023) to increase patient access to systemic medications, including organizing medical students and publishing statements supporting the PASTEUR Act (subscription-based market incentives for antibiotic development) and JAK-inhibitor insurance coverage • Funded by the National Psoriasis Foundation and UCSF Yearlong Research Fellowships in 2022-2023
