I have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, a Specialist in Science Education, and a Master's degree in Biological Sciences. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Biological Sciences in the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Pernambuco and the Ecole Doctorale Biologie Santé at the University of Nantes (France). I have a solid academic and professional background, having trained from several higher education institutions. I believe in the transformative potential of science and education and constantly strive to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in my field. I am also a supporter of a science that connects the public and private systems.
International research experience in France involving cell biology, gas chromatography, and experimental drug testing, with collaborative work in multilingual and multicultural scientific environments.
Research experience in biology and pharmaceutical sciences, with expertise in the evaluation of natural and synthetic compounds following international research protocols. Additional experience includes personnel training, project planning, and scientific project management.
Immunohistochemistry internship at the Oral Histopathology Laboratory, coordinated by Prof. Cassiano Nonaka. This laboratory conducts tests for the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS). I had the opportunity to learn a little about this method and intend to apply it in my future research.
Experience as a Biology teacher for high school students, with a focus on university entrance examinations. Responsibilities included lesson planning and delivery, preparation of laboratory classes, and development of reports and lesson plans.
During this period, I received training in basic laboratory activities, such as preparation of various materials, sterilization, solution preparation, and cell culture. I also became familiar with various methods, such as: cytotoxicity assays, the comet assay for detecting DNA damage, separation of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells, RNA extraction, and methodsfor analyzing results and interpreting data.
