Accountable for developing the Base Maintenance activities and manage the A330 MRTT projects in Saudi Arabia; including preparation phase, execution and close-up (C-Checks, 6Y, 12Y, LDG changes and major modifications). Head of the Maintenance team and operational lead of the stakeholders involved to accomplish the intervention: Production, Planning, Engineering, Materials and GSE; as well as subcontracted third-parties. Reach the on-time delivery optimizing costs, in compliance with the Quality & Safety policy and ensuring the airworthiness requirements. Support the handover and handback of the aircraft to operations and provide technical assistance.
A330 MRTT Maintenance services. Cross functional role for receiving and evaluating maintenance tasks received from CAMO and its execution through the MRO till its closure. Arrangement of tools, materials, hangar and manpower required for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Management of AOG situation by combining all stake holders for aircraft recovery. Review and evaluation of PFR’s and plan its corrective actions. Monitoring and evaluation of MEL/CDL items. Support long term and create short term plan for aircraft maintenance. Create and manage work packages for Line and Base maintenance.
Planning and coordination of Base Maintenance projects. Evaluation of Checks and heavy tasks which cannot be accomplished during ops, liaise with TSE/MCC about outstanding MODs/DMIs to be carried out, and coordination with Logistics providing with the materials preload list. Deal with the contracted third-party maintenance organizations. Be an on-site representative at the contracted MROs acting as focal point between operator and Part145 (Turkey, Czech Republic, France, United Kingdom, Spain and Italy).
Prepare daily and weekly plans of scheduled maintenance for line stations. Communicate with Logistics regarding material/tools/equipment availability. Monitor a/c forecasts on a daily and weekly basis so that all maintenance tasks are being accomplished before due limits. Control the over and above cost through proper scheduling of maintenance and delegation of tasks.
Responsible for the fulfillment of internal and external customer AOG and routine material requirements, including order entry and management, part sourcing, and timely shipping of parts. Dealing with the entire process, interfacing with Smartlynx warehouse, Maintenance Control Center, Operations Control Center, Line Maintenance Technicians, Vendors, and Logistics companies.
