As an independent contractor, I collaborated with various clients, engaging in a wide range of projects. My primary focus was on developing innovative technical solutions and products within the mechanical engineering sector.
Leading a team of engineers and overseeing projects within the ship outfitting department's scope, our role as contractors involved contributing to the steel outfitting of super yachts and playing a significant role in the construction of luxurious cruise ships. Additionally, we completed the reconstruction of masts and rigging for a schooner-type sailboat and were responsible for the structure and outfitting equipment's basic documentation of a tugboat. Our main responsibilities included creating classification documentation in specialized software (such as plans, arrangements, designs, reports, and similar), as well as developing 3D models based on the classification documentation and creating workshop documentation.
Leading a team of engineers and projects within the department's scope of work, our main focus was on projects involving piping and HVAC systems for mega cruise ships.
My responsibility involved designing piping, cable tray, and HVAC systems for mega cruise ships in accordance with industry standards and client regulations. I utilized Catia V4, Catia V6, and CADMATIC software for 3D modeling of systems and prepared technical drawings for fabrication purposes. Additionally, I worked closely with client representatives as part of an alteration team and was periodically on-site as per rotation schedules.
