While I looked up at the murals of Saddam Hussein’s birthday palace, my Iraqi counterpart noticed me and started explaining how they told the story of the 1991 and 1998 wars with America. "Strange," I thought, "there wasn’t a war in ’98", but as he described the painting it was painfully obvious I was looking at it all wrong. Our 1998 air bombing campaign WAS a war for the people of Iraq. I had failed to understand their reality and now understood that my solutions were likely flawed. Perception is critical to helping others, so I reevaluated and refocused. As a Veteran Army Special Operations Officer and now a business leader, this experience has stuck with me and driven how I understand opportunities and provide solutions differently than my peers. I’ve done so whether I was running multi-million dollars operations, advising and consulting national government leaders, or developing innovative solutions for the military or the healthcare industry. With this mindset, I’ve proven myself as an nontraditional leader and strategist. In both the military and private sector, I've inspired leaders to think differently and achieve dynamic results through creative solutions in the most complex environments with limited resources and guidance. I constantly evaluate situations for risks enabling me to anticipate changes and overcome challenges at warp speed, so stakeholders, clients and customers aren't negatively impacted. I'm a lifelong learner who seeks out intellectual challenges and, because of that, I’m the expert senior executives rely on to provide a deeper understanding of what is "known" and advise them about emerging opportunities. To accomplish the goals of the team and senior executives, I passionately build new bridges and make unique connections. Connections not only between people, but great ideas. I’m at my best and most creative when I’m part of a group of diverse personalities that are also inspired in making a positive impact for the Company, stakeholders, customers, and the community. What I can do for you is… • Build and Maintain Cohesive Creative Teams = Creative Solutions • Understand and Communicate Complex Problems = Seize Opportunities • Manage Large Scale Projects and Programs = Meet Timelines and Objectives • Develop Comprehensive Strategies = Beat the Competition • Improve Efficiencies and Increase Output = $$ If you’re interested in how I can help your team, I would love to build the path to your dynamic results.

As a Scale Officer, I commercialized early stage Research & Development medical technologies on behalf of Scale Facilitation to establish start-ups with market access to the US, Australia, and beyond. I worked closely with innovators and researchers based in Australia to develop new products or services and completed regulatory milestones. I orchestrated all facets of business functions for multiple start-ups and serve as a de facto COO until they have their own capabilities. Scale Facilitation removes the barriers to commercialization and facilitates innovators with the right strategic partners who will adopt, and truly scale their innovations. Our approach is unique, focusing on natural and proprietary comparative advantages across all stages of the innovation continuum.
