About

As an LL.M. candidate in International Arbitration at Erasmus University Rotterdam (Exchange+ from the National University of Singapore), I have deep interests in international law research and international moot court advocacy. My various moot court experiences and research assistant work on submarine-cable law have deepened my appreciation for the various sub-fields of public international law. I have developed oral and written advocacy skills through participation in the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot and ICC Moot, where I focused on crafting case theories that reconcile live legal issues and complex facts. In particularly, my academic focus lies in the intersection of investment arbitration and climate change obligations - given the wide impacts of BITs on States' ability and obligations to regulate private actors. I'm keen to apply my research and advocacy skills in internships or projects that bridge arbitration practice and climate policy. If you work on these issues or know of opportunities, I'd welcome a suggestion or a quick chat.
