(should reflect as 1 month) My takeaway from Divorce law is it's 2 steps, the first being the dissolution of marriages based on finding of fact (5 possible grounds) and the second step refers to ancillary proceedings governing division of matrimonial assets, maintenance (spouse, child), care and control, custody and access. I assisted with drafting affidavits which have different stages to adduce material to persuade the court of a certain position as to ancillary matters.
