A Mechanical Engineer by qualification and a teacher by profession. I am a young, organised and motivated professional with a passion for both teaching and learning. My experience teaching in various environments across multiple subjects and age groups has provided me with a broad understanding of the challenges faced by students in learning new content, and a versatile skill set for adapting to their learning needs.
Grade 8 English program science teacher . Responsible for grade level curriculum and lesson planning with a strong focus on applying a student centred learning approach to classroom activities and presentations. Additional responsibilities include - Assistant homeroom adviser - Teaching weekly moral science lessons - Grade 8 additional science teacher: responsible for providing supplemental instruction to support core science content understanding , implementing project-based learning activities, supervising laboratory activities and achieving experiment-based learning goals.
Class room lead science teacher for students grade 7-11, teaching a range of natural and physical science topics including physics, chemistry, biology, Earth sciences and astronomy. Responsible for all lesson planning, material preparation, class presentation, assessment , executing project based learning objectives and employing innovative approaches to drive student engagement. Additional duties include: - Serving as year 9 home room adviser. - Supervising laboratory work. - Public speaking and prepared story telling coaching. - Additional elective subject teaching such as health studies and social studies.
