The factories of the future are being built right now - inside legacy facilities, around human workflows, on manufacturing lines nobody designed for autonomy. As Tesla’s 1st AMR deployment engineer I scale the company’s in-house program across its Gigafactories, where production speeds and scale give zero margin for error. But successful forward deployments alone are not enough. The industry needs standards, frameworks and governance that can keep pace with the technology. That is the work I do beyond the factory floor. I’m a contributing author & voting member on National standards bodies (A3 R15.08, ASTM F45 and F50). My practitioner research examines how we can govern heterogeneous autonomous systems (industrial robots, mobile robots, humanoids and AI agents) operating together at scale. I speak about this work at major industry conferences including Automate, MODEX, Robotics Summit, and IROS, serve on Industrial Advisory Boards, and write here on LinkedIn.
