I am a Senior DevOps and Cloud Platform Engineer with experience across Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud networking and secure platform operations. Over the past several years I have supported critical environments across financial services, healthcare, SaaS and enterprise organisations. Led a distributed DevOps team across Ireland, the UK and Poland, combining hands-on AWS/Kubernetes platform work with team leadership, planning and stakeholder engagement. Worked closely with architects and engineering teams on platform design, AWS cost optimisation, Kubernetes node usage and dynamic scaling using Karpenter. Managed production and pre-production Jenkins environments running on Kubernetes and supported over 90 Kubernetes clusters across multiple AWS accounts. Designed and maintained secure build and release pipelines, hardened build container images, and improved software supply chain security through standardised build environments and secure container registry practices. Implemented Kubernetes admission controls, network policies and platform security tooling, while supporting monitoring and alerting through Prometheus, Grafana and Splunk. Also designed secure multi-cloud connectivity between Azure landing zone VNets and AWS VPCs using site-to-site VPNs, routing controls and network segmentation. Worked closely with developers, security and platform teams to onboard engineering groups to secure CI/CD and Kubernetes platforms.
