As a Devops engineer I focus on a number of technologies, including: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Azure, Azure Devops, GIT, Bash, P4V, PostgreSQL, OracleDB, Jenkins, Elasticsearch, Thanos, Ansible and more.
In my short term as a Software Engineer the technologies most focused on come under Java, WebLogic, IBM MQ, Hazelcast and OracleDB. I fixed defects in code and wrote Java functions.
Automation (SOAP-UI), writing test cases, manual as well as automated execution. A little selenium and web drivers as well. In my role as QA, I also supported my team and others in devops related issues. This was under a sub role called Devops champions that allowed a member of each team to be a Devops focal point. In this role I resolved Devops issues in Linux and Windows, including but not limited to basic Azure provisioning, Windows setup, Jenkins slave setup and basic Linux System Administration.
