This hands-on experience provided highly specific insights into business strategy, public relations, logistics management, and sustainable transition within Volkswagen Group. Sitting in on sales and marketing meetings and conducting research to minimise local emissions, I have gained a strong understanding of the vehicle industry in the UK and EV adoption. Visiting Volkswagen’s National Learning Centre site I gained knowledge on the ramifications of Brexit and UK government policy on end-of-life vehicles and future challenges of EV disposal.
