As a Veeam Senior Systems Engineer I work with our customer and partner communities to realize the benefits of our Cloud Data Management Platform. I work with the Veeam partner community, providing training and assistance to help drive product adoption and sales. Job duties include: mentorship, demonstration and presentation delivery, proof of concept delivery, training and event attendance. • Provide on-site and remote demonstrations of Veeam's Cloud Data Management Platform. • Educate partner SE’s & Architects about Veeam's Cloud Data Management Platform. • Collaborate with Veeam’s technical alliance partners to provide joint product training, demonstrations, and customer meetings. • Build lasting relationships with customers and partners. • Assist sales in helping discover, qualify, and secure new Veeam customers and partners. • Work closely with the Veeam Product Development team by providing customer feedback and ideas. • Empower and assist customers while they evaluate Veeam’s Cloud Data Management Platform. • Lead Veeam User Group meetings.

Responsibilities include leading the conceptual, logical, and physical design of Infrastructure environments across a wide range of client types; estimate levels of effort and costs for proposed Infrastructure projects; provide knowledge, guidelines and technical leadership to a team of senior infrastructure specialists; deliver presentations and client proposals that provide comprehensive recommendations on major IT technologies to a wide variety of audiences; oversee technical solution delivery of client projects and leadership of the Q.A. process prior to project closure; provide innovative and flexible recommendations to clients that meet business and technical requirements of the client.
Responsibilities include planning, designing, and operational support for global server and storage infrastructure. Designed, planned, and upgraded Exchange 2007 environment to Exchange 2010. Designed, planned, and upgraded vSphere 4 environment to vSphere 5.0. Planned and upgraded NetApp Data OnTap on various controllers to 8.1.1 7-mode. Responsible for managing the Citrix environment, including redundant NetScalers, Branch Repeater, and ‘Provisioning’ servers. Responsible for all aspects of Active Directory, Exchange Server, DNS, DHCP for the global infrastructure including 16 sites on 5 continents. Responsible for tier 3 support of infrastructure, as well as mentoring other members of the infrastructure team.
Responsibilities include planning, designing, and migrating Exchange environments for Exchange 2003/2007/2010. Responsibilities also include Active Directory Domain design, upgrades, troubleshooting, and consolidations. Required to help manage and maintain various VMware environments, Exchange environments, Windows Server environments, and storage for VMware environments. Developed run book documentation for VMware configuration and management, Exchange configuration and management, and Storage configuration and management. Placed at multiple sites ranging in size from 50 to 5000 user base, to aid in day to day operations in the aforementioned technologies, as well as provide documentation for those technologies. Aided in performing Disaster Recovery assessments (recoverability assessments), and provided DR recommendations in the areas of Active Directory and Exchange Server. Responsible for performing multiple builds of Citrix XenApp 5.0 Farms ranging from 2 – 20 XenApp servers including secure gateway configuration, Citrix policy creation, and group policy creation.
