I carried out a project investigating Notch signalling in drosophila. Here, I developed my coding skills in Python and MATLAB, also improving my ability to interpret large data sets in Excel and present results effectively to peers.
I co-authored a paper investigating treatment of retinopathy of prematurity during the COVID-19 pandemic. I carried out data analysis, wrote transcripts of interviews and assisted in the drafting process whilst working to tight deadlines. This allowed me to gain extensive experience in the process of peer review and publication in academia, and I was delighted to be subsequently invited to carry out further research in India.
Performed in operas at the Royal Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall and Glyndebourne as well as for a number of film score recordings. Completed numerous tours across China at venues in Beijing, Guangzhou, Wuhan and Zhuhai.
