• Responsible for organizing and controlling functional operation and directly responsible for employee safety, productivity, on-time delivery, and quality of products produced. • Pressroom - Supervised 13 operators and 1 welder. (bystronics, accupress, drill press, laser, sheer, omega/turret, strider). • Weld – Responsible for 2 lines and 15 employees (13 welders, 2 metal finishers, 1 utility) and oversaw the work 1 material handler and 1 maintenance technician. • Worked on tool testing to reduce vibration, noise, and air consumption. • Responsible for interpreting schedules, coordinating appropriate manpower to meet area goals, and to ensure uninterrupted flow of products and/or services. • Assist in the development, communication, and deployment of departmental policies. • Responsible for the execution of the Operations Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals and objectives. • Lead and drive continuous improvement activities and development of correction action plans. • Promote and facilitate departmental lean manufacturing programs and techniques. • Lead safety initiatives to improve working conditions and department safety performance. • Maintained 5S standards in assigned work areas on 2 lines. • Responsible for training, coaching, and conducting employee performance reviews.
