I have lived and loved marketing and design for 20 years and counting. Working in a range of in-house and freelance roles has provided me with a wealth of business experience, creative skills and marketing abilities. I'm experienced in the B2B space, with passion for manufacturing, construction and mining industries. I offer a well developed professional network with a range of contacts offering expertise in photography, video, social media, digital strategy, copywriting, printing, and more. Thinking outside the box, taking initiative, hard yakka, and strong communication are some of my strong points. I'm a team player and thrive in both the arenas of content creation and technical/data-driven marketing. As an avid musician and guitarist, I launched Lawrence Music Creations in 2024 as a side venture to turn a long-time dream into reality. Partnering with a skilled luthier and top suppliers, we create guitars that blend classic designs with modern innovation. This guitar design venture combines my expertise in Industrial Design, product marketing, graphic design, digital marketing, and content creation, bringing a fresh perspective to today's guitar players.
Lawrence Music Creations is my part-time creative venture focused on designing original, high-performance guitars. I collaborate closely with a luthier partner across design, testing, and production to craft instruments that blend visionary aesthetics, refined ergonomics, and premium craftsmanship. Each build is shaped by experience and made to inspire today’s player.
Since late 2023, I’ve supported a range of businesses through part-time contract roles across marketing, brand, and digital. Recent work includes: • Mineco (H1 2024): Developed capability statements, HubSpot EDMs, technical datasheets, and a comprehensive product database. • MEVCO (H2 2024): Supported a lean marketing team at this mining-focused EV startup with campaigns, events, content, and technical writing. • Regional e-commerce business (H1 2025): Delivered short-term marketing support, including content scheduling, email campaigns, and website updates on Shopify and Klaviyo. I’m open to new marketing opportunities aligned with my core expertise in trade, B2B, and commercial sectors. I bring a strategic mindset with hands-on execution across content, campaigns, and digital platforms, backed by graphic design skills and practical experience with WordPress and Shopify.
Aletek design and manufacture mining-specific products. I helped manage product marketing, branding, social media, content creation, copywriting, and events support as part of my team-leading role. I am highly engaged and proactive in aligning marketing with business and sales objectives. Marketing initiatives include strategic presentations, campaigning, site-specific parts catalogues, and educating customers via videos and user guides. As a member of the fast paced TJM marketing team we are responsible for end to end product marketing, major campaign development, print collateral, digital marketing and content creation. I've been actively involved with the creation of website prototypes, UI and UX development as well as copywriting using Excel and a clever blend of Vlookups and concat functions to help automate the creation of bulk product descriptions. Other achievements include ad development from the ground up, brochure creation, campaign naming, and logo development for Pace performance 4x4 products. Collaborating with the marketing team, stakeholders, suppliers and sponsors is most rewarding.
