I am in charge of the Stamping and Body teams in the Vehicle Planning and Simultaneous Engineering department inside the Production Engineering Division. Budget, resources and strategy planning for the European projects. Simultaneous Engineering in collaboration with style, design and other R&D divisions to achieve "design for manufacture" without compromising product power or performance.
In charge of the planning, coordination and implementation of the new models' introduction in the European body plants. My responsibilities in a typical project include: project planning and budgeting, vehicle simultaneous engineering, production machinery specification and procurement, installation and commissioning. I am the manager of a team of engineers in various european offices. Located in Brussels (2yr) and in Derby UK (2yr)
Body shop process design, equipment specification, procurement and commissioning. Project and resource management. Team management. Located in Toyota City, JP (1.5yr) for the launch of the Corolla as a global model. Located in Derby, UK (1.5yr) for the launch of the Auris in the British plant TMUK. Located in Prague, CZ (1yr) for the launch of the Aygo in TPCA.
My responsibilities were the introduction and modification of welding equipment for the Peugeot 207 project. I was in charge of the validation and compliance with PSA standards, the compilation of technical documentation and, at a later stage, in charge of the weld quality assurance, which included the calibration of equipment and the analysis and solving of defects. I was an external contractor from Alten Engineering.
I was assigned to a Magna plant for the production preparation of Shell Body parts for the new Mercedes M series. I was part of a team in charge of robot teaching. I developed my skills in technologies such as spot weld, handling, tool changing, adhesive and other sealing applications. I also dealt with weld defects and weld parameters.
I worked as a technician in various industrial automation projects. From electrical and pneumatic installation to PLC, HMI, computer programming and robot teaching.
