My name is Joseph Anthony and I have over 8 years of experience within the game industry as Quality Assurance acting as both a tester and a team lead on major products across mobile and PC. Through my experience within the fast paced mobile industry, I’ve honed my skills in providing excellent results across multiple departments, working to further QA efficiency and team workflows, and developing a refined understanding of pipeline methodologies to ensure smooth movement throughout the entire development cycle. Game design is my passion and a personal hobby. I develop analog games board and cards games in my spare time, including an original fantasy themed TTRPG, Realms of Caelum, with over 50 pages of lore and multiple fully playable modules, and two fully playable games on Table Top Simulator.

Hired as a Quality Assurance Analyst to test Hero Academy 2. With a small QA team, systematically performed test plans covering in-progress development as well as production testing for releasing the product to the App Store, Google Play, and the official website. • Built and implemented structured partial and full testing of game features and systems, app installation, and IAP purchases. • Documented any discovered issues in the Atlassian Jira system for future regression. • Created smart Excel sheets to track team in-game time and the daily state of regressions and QA investigations. • Constructed a performance test level using C++ for stress testing use. • Acted as back-up team lead in the absence of our team leader.
Peer Advisors (PA) are UT Dallas student employees who live on campus and provide University Housing residents with personal, academic and housing-related peer support. My duties included: upholding standards of University Commons quality service through timely communication with supervisor, following protocol during emergencies, and positive attitude in customer service. Along with these, I: collaborated with other Peer Advisers to organize and create social events for residents, acted as mediator in resident conflicts, and fostered a community and engaged with residents through on-campus events and clubs.
During summer sessions at UTD, I was hired on as a Conference Assistant to tend to students, camps, and conferences staying at the residence hall. My duties included performing front desk clerical operations such as: logging and delivering packages, money handling, checking in and out of guests , addressing any concerns or questions brought to the front desk. Additionally, I performed: nightly inspections of the building's interior and exterior entry points, inspected rooms prior to student or group move-in and after move-outs, and managing equipment check in and out.
