-Draft amendments and addendums dealing in domestic and international travel service products -Collaborate with sales department to ensure sales cycles are recorded in compliance with contracts -Collaborate with the sales department to amend promotional contracts for improved client retention, and acquisition, including redlining and negotiation to existing documents -Research and interpret existing client contracts in order to maintain legal guidelines internally and for client in order to prevent a breach when issues arise -Communicate with the Sales Executives and client decision-makers to acquire contract signatures -Support the Director of Contracts by processing attorney payroll, client invoices and supply orders -Maintain monthly reports on workflow for all attorneys including calendaring deadlines -Archival of all legal documents into a database as well as maintain the database for documents pull -Onboard and train new-hires on internal software, policies and departmental culture -Collaborate with rebrand team on logo usage on all legal documents coming out of the company
-Draft a variety of documents including Revocable Living Trusts, Wills, HIPPA Authorizations, Financial and Healthcare Power of Attorney, Living Wills, Certification of Trust, Beneficiary Designations, and Deeds -Maintain individual workflow while adapting to the fluctuating priorities of head paralegals and attorneys by tracking and maintaining the deadlines assigned for all documents being assigned from nine separate offices -Organize the dictation from the attorneys meetings to create a memorandum for client files -Research and self-train in state guidelines and regulations to ensure all drafted documents are in compliance with the respective state, including OH, NY, TX, FL, VA, TN, CT, NJ, and NC -Manage the creation of LLC’s; Drafting of the initial start-up documents, compiling corporate books, registering the LLC with the Secretary of State within that respective state or as a foreign LLC if appropriate, and obtaining the federal EIN -Calculate clients’ net worth by creating an asset detail report to distinguish which assets are eligible for trust transfer, drafting the appropriate funding documents to accompany -Collaborate with county recorder offices while tracking the completion of all deeds -Manage office communications, client correspondence, and drafting protocol by phone, email, and PC software, responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail for the NY branch
-Responsible for the drafting of documents including, GDPOA, HCPOA, Fiduciary Deeds, Survivorship Deeds, Quit Claim Deeds, Warranty Deeds, Wills, Certification and Memorandums of Trust, Living Will, Affidavits, etc. -Responsible for ensuring the correct legal description on deeds match the county land records prior to recording. -Apply for and maintain the Medicaid accounts of over 40+ clients simultaneously, from applying and collecting verifications to through the reapplication process for clients involved in nursing home waiver, PASSPORT, and Assisted Living. At times calculating the restricted coverage period from the gifting of their assets. -Keep staff on task, administer tasks for productivity, maintain complaints, prepare client meetings and maintain office supply stock. -Maintain and organize client files; physical and digital files -Maintain client relationships by acting as a liaison and buffer between existing clients and attorney by answering questions and concerns and performing tasks to ensure best productivity for attorney. - Responsible for filling out and filing Change of Ownership forms for Annuities, Bank Accounts, Life Insurance, Money Markets, CD’s, and other investments.
