Joseph R. Holland III, CLT,CA, is the President/Owner of Majestic Lawn Care & Landscape Inc. He is a Certified Arborist and a Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator in New York & New Jersey. He is a Certified Landscape Technician and is also a Certified Organic Lawn Care Accredited Professional (OLCAP). Joe has been a Rockland County resident since 1965, where he grew up the oldest of 10 children. He founded Majestic Lawn Care & Landscape in September of 1993 and has grown it into one of the larger lawn care and landscape maintenance firms in Rockland County, New York. Over the years Joe expanded the business to include Tree Removal & Stump Grinding, Snow & Ice Management, Irrigation & Lighting, and Fence & Hardscape Installations. Joe is a Certified Arborist as of April 14, 2016 and became certified in Natural (organic) Turf Management in January of 2016. He is always looking for ways to better himself and his company. Joe lives in New City, New York and is a single dad to his two children, Emma 9 and Joseph IV who is 8. He gives back to the community by volunteering his, and his company's time and services for things like the Boy Scout Eagle Projects at the West Nyack Little League Field and the Stony Point Chapter Sons of the American Revolution, to help repair the Henry Rose Cemetery (War Of 1812). Joe also Restored and maintains the Martinus Hogenkamp Cemetery in New City, it is the final resting place for Soldiers from The American Revolution, The Civil War and some of the Founding Families of Clarkstown and Rockland County. Joe is a charter member of SAR (Sons of the American Revolution). He has also been raising money and awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation through "Ride for Kids" for almost 20 years. In his spare time ( Ya Right ) Joe plays Drums with a couple of Bands and likes to ride his Harley or his Hot Rod, a 27 T Bucket, with the kids. Sometimes he just likes to catch up on some sleep!
Joe became Landscape Industry Certified in 2011 and is recognized by the International Certified Council to have met the high standards dictated to achieve this status. He is a member of the Better Business Bureau, NALP (National Association of Landscape Professionals), SIMA (Snow & Ice Management Association), New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association, New York State Turf Grass Association and Nursery & Landscape Association, ISA (International Society of Arboriculture), Professional Landscape Association of Rockland County and he is a member of the New City Chamber of Commerce.
