About

I am an Associate Director at Ricardo and have worked for over a decade in the water sector with a focus on water policy, regulation and strategy. I started my career in the water sector following major sector reforms and an unprecedented drought cycle in Australia. From this point, I have gone on to leading roles on several high-profile water sector inquiries and reviews in Australia covering water markets and the Murray-Darling Basin Plan and oversaw the development of a national water security framework and national reform priorities for the urban water sector. Since relocating to France in 2021, I have worked with governments, utilities, regulators and private companies across the US, UK and the Middle East on an increasingly diverse range of projects covering desalination, water efficiency, water policy and strategy development, and regulatory design. Exporting knowledge and experience from Australia, where relevant, and taking the opportunity to learn how others approach many of the common challenges facing the water sector. I am an experienced Project Director capable of leading large teams on complex and challenging projects and a strong proponent of clear and effective communication and facilitation - written, spoken or other. I hold a BSc in Resource and Environmental Management from the Australian National University where I also received the Australian Institute of Agriculture Science and Technology Prize (2015) and Environmental Policy Award (2014).
