A Quantity Surveyor at Withambrook Construction, a rapidly growing and dynamic groundworker. In the role, I am proactively and personally managing 9 sites, ranging from major roads & sewers contracts, supply & fit residential groundworks, labour only residential groundworks to extensions and specialist and exclusive 2-8 house high end developments. Providing accurate and detailed forecasts for cash flow, tendering of quotes and analysis of said quotes, payment of sub contractors, providing detailed quotations for variations, meeting with clients and value engineering on site, alongside our contracts managers and site foreman. Reporting all of this directly to the Commercial Director and MD.

Proactively and personally managing 4 sites of labour only groundworkers, while also doing monthly material reconciliations. Also, assisting the Commercial Manager and other QS with muck shift tendering, providing site take offs / budgets across our upcoming and capturing costs due to changed specification across our developments. Davidsons are known for their premium and high quality developments across the Midlands. They are a 5* house builder accredited through the IBF every year since 2013.
