Working at Fox Lane Middle School, both collaborating with Biology teachers to create curriculum content and to cooperatively teach classes, as well as substitute for other teachers in the full spectrum of subject content areas and student abilities.
Facilitated the sale and distribution of orthopedic medical devices to major hospital networks, surgery centers and medical offices across the tri-state area while offering personal service to such accounts. Responsibilities included, but not limited to: account management, surgical consultations, surgeon education, medical device trouble-shooting during surgical cases, and general facility oversight. Participated in the following trainings and workshops: aseptic techniques, operating room protocol, blood-bourn pathogens, HIPAA compliance, and other site-specific protocols.
Worked collaboratively with all private New York City hospitals to provide service and technical assistance to surgeons and clinical staff related to the operation and maintenance of surgical devices. Duties included operating room oversight involving product support, device servicing, and educating the surgical team in proper device protocol adhering to manufacturers recommendations, all while maintaining aseptic operating room regulations and HIPAA confidentiality.
