* Led the Zillow Home Loans team to develop a very significant internal tool that is used by Loan Officers working for Zillow Home Loans to originate mortgages. This tool allows Loan Officers to take all the steps needed to manage a customer loan application, including all data entry of a 1003 mortgage application, as well as running automated pricing, pulling a person’s credit report, and doing underwriting verification through Fannie Mae. * Led the team in developing externally-facing customer experiences on both zillow.com and zillowhomeloans.com, including a user flow to allow customers to automatically see if they are pre-qualified for a mortgage with Zillow Home Loans.
Built out and developed features for the Zillow Mortgage marketplace. Our small team of 6 developers built and maintained an $80 million per year marketplace that enabled customers to get real-time quotes from lenders on our platform, as well as a step-by-step guide to connect our customers directly to our lending partners. Built out the foundational pieces for the platform as our team took over the company Mortgage Lenders of America, which later became Zillow Home Loans

Our notable systems included: • Login with Amazon (http://login.amazon.com) Login with Amazon allows Amazon customers to use their Amazon account to identify themselves to third-party applications, and grant access to customer information through Amazon endpoints. • Authentication Portal Authentication Portal is a highly available, secure, and performant system, which is responsible for sign in, sign out, change email/name/password, fraud detection for millions of Amazon customers.
