My team at Red Hat works on the OADP (OpenShift APIs for Data Protection) operator, using the Velero project as it's upstream. At LexisNexis, I worked as a Data Engineer on a team dedicated to leveraging machine learning to enhance intelligent data platforms. My role focused on optimizing LLM-based Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems—an area of expertise strengthened by my Master’s in Computer Science from NC State University. I contributed to advancing the LLM-RAG platform by combining software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI techniques to improve model performance, reliability, and end-to-end system efficiency. With my academic foundation and practical experience in web development, including Angular and .NET, I've adapted to the evolving demands of the tech industry. My journey through machine learning and neural networks is driven by a passion for innovative algorithms that streamline processes and elevate our understanding of complex data systems. I've completed a specialization in Deep Learning and a course on RAG Systems to better understand these areas. Current learning: Looking into container orchestration and DevOps skills. Have completed a specialization in Cloud Native Development using Openshift and Kubernetes.
