About

I am currently a senior going into my final semester at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I study Electrical Engineering and am specializing in Power Systems and Renewables. My GPA is 3.25 and I plan to receive my degree in December 2011. I am currently working as a summer intern at S & C Electric Company and live in Chicago. Last summer I interned at the California ISO and lived in Sacramento. I have worked with EMS, dispactch displays, planned outages, and power flows. Currently I am doing work related to substation design for Power Systems Services at S&C Electric Company. I enjoy school very much but I really enjoy my time learning about green energy and the electrical grid. I am particularly partial to wind energy. In my free time I play the Saxophone in the Marching Illini and Basketball band. I am the Marching Section Leader and the Assistant Conductor of the Orange and Blues band. I also bartend and work at Murphy's Pub.
