CIO for Iberia. Overseeing 60 bill € in mutual funds, pension funds and institutional mandates. Managing a team of 50 portfolio managers, analysts and traders.
Created Valorica to manage Spanish regulated absolute return funds. Developed and launched Valorica Alpha FIL Fund (Spanish regulated Hedge Fund). Managed Valorica Alpha FIL Fund under three premises: regulation, transparency and daily liquidity. Created a dynamic risk control model combining fundamental and systematic approach. Achieved return targets in 2008, 2009 & 2010 for Valorica Alpha FIL Fund.
