About

Senior Digital leader with more than 20 years transforming organizations through digital technologies. I am fully convinced and passionate about digitalization and the power of combining transformation, digital technologies and new ways of working to generate new revenue streams and business reinvention. Most of all, I develop organizations through and with people fostering innovation and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. My background is a mixture of digital CTO and program delivery. My actual mission in Repsol is to deliver global Digital Program developing new digital products to foster all Repsol business and corporate areas digitalization. As Head of Digital and Information Technology Strategy and Architecture, I set technology strategy as key part of Repsol strategic plan 21-25 to lead energy transition and meet decarbonization goals. Before that, I developed my career as business consultancy at Accenture helping in international tranformation journies to several oil gas, utilities and natural resources companies such as Iberdrola, Gas Natural, Repsol, Cepsa, Arcerlor Mittal and Air Liquide. Over this time there are 3 keys I’ve learnt based on my own experience to successfully lead the digital transformation journey in an organization: 1) Focus on people and business needs to define the purpose (the why) of transformation for a particular company and engage everybody at early stage, to accelerate the cultural change. 2) Think in terms of end-to-end challenges and To Be future statement, aligning the whole organization in a single transformation journey breaking organizational silos 3) Deliver small products (Minimum Viable Product) every 12 weeks evolving the initial business organizational model towards autonomous cross-functional teams that are empowered to be responsible of what they build
