Al Raha Beach Hotel Villas & Marina Manage the Maintenance and Engineering Department comprising 27 employees Lead the Engineering Team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the resort, including service standards, equipment schedules, and work schedules Develop systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of Guests and Team Members, as well as the proper conditions for plants, machinery, and property Prepare Capital and Repairs and Maintenance budgets for Engineering Develop, implement and manage all emergency programs and energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses *The property offers 254 rooms and suites and 24 villas. The resort compromises an area of 150 000 m2 with 9 restaurants and bars, Marina, SPA, and 2500 m2 of meeting space
JA The Resort, JA Sports Center & Shooting Club, AL Sahara Desert Resort Manage the Maintenance and Engineering Department comprising of 77 employees Assist in the solving of design problems as they arise in concert with Owners, Architects, Consultants, and JA Resorts & Hotels Stakeholders Coordinate project bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively Plan meetings, agendas, site visits, and program deliverables optimally engaging/disengaging all parties promptly that allows for accurate preparation and planning for the attendees. Monitor Key Performance Indicators for the Engineering Department and take corrective action, as required, to improve equipment inventory, quality audit, productivity, and other objectives Managing and auditing for peak performance outsourced maintenance contracts, including facilities management, landscaping, elevators, fire systems, etc. Implementation and rollout of HotSOS system (data gathering, appropriate communications, training, etc.) *JA The Resort is home to 3 iconic hotels, JA Beach Hotel 235 rooms, JA Palm Tree Court 212, and JA Lake View 348 rooms. The Resort compromises an area of 1million square meters and has 23 restaurants and bars, Equestrian Center, Marina, Golf Course, Bio Garden, Aviary, SPA, 4 floodlit tennis courts, badminton court, squash court, 8 pools across the resort and 1532 m2 of meeting space.
JA MANAFARU Managed the Engineering, Grounds & Landscaping, Marine and Security teams comprising 95 employees. Ensure provision of uninterrupted building essential services (water, electricity, sewage removal, and firefighting equipment) to entire resort premises Log all information relative to energy consumption, preventive maintenance actions and repairs on all essential equipment (generator sets, water and sewage pumps, firefighting equipment and the like) Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Occupational Health & Safety compliance in the Resort by ensuring safe work procedures are observed and practiced, staff are provided and wear Personal Protective Equipment, organizing relevant signage, organize regular audits in accordance with OH&S regulations Develops, implements and manages energy conservation programs for the island to minimize expenses The Resort is spread over 35 acres with 37 beach villas with private pool, 47 water villas with infinity pool, 7 restaurants and bars, Gym, SPA, Tennis and badminton court, Kids club and 2 shared island pools
Managed the Engineering, Grounds & Landscaping, Marine and Security teams comprising 44 employees Provides leadership and direction in the development, execution and measurement of guest service standards to include the management of all technical trade classifications (Engineers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Laborers, Maintenance Warehouse, Gardeners, Drivers, Facilities Safety Systems Operators, etc.) consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes Develops and implements standard operating procedures for operational functions of the facility with a specific focus on the efficiency and safety of operations Conducts ongoing reviews of operation budgeting and staffing plans; recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating arena personnel and service providers The Resort is located on a 14.5-acre coral cay island in Fiji with 78 traditional Fijian styled Villas called Bures. 5 restaurants & one Bar, Infinity pool, Dive pool, Kids Club, tennis court, volleyball court, Church, SPA, turtle pond and Heli pad.
Radisson Hotel Trinidad Develop, recommend, implement and administer the budget for capital expenditure plan of the department. Operated, repair and maintain all equipment in operation, including but not limited pumps, motors, water heaters, air handling, cooling towers, etc. Develop, implement and manage maintenance programs. Responsible for staff training. Participate in meetings of the executive committee. Participate in the Program Manager on duty. Participate in the annual budget process hotel. Responsible for the engineering staff and security.
