Support the Plant on the administration of New Products, establish Manufacturing best practices (Lean), administrate new projects and assure Quality through all the processes. Products: Vacuums, Airmovers, Motors, Hoses (extruding), Filters and Molding (Injection, Roto and Blow). Customer experience: The Home Depot, Craftsman, ACE and Chrysler.
● Manufacturing Assembly responsible on 5 Business units (Vacuums -Molding & Assembly-, RESPONSABILITIES Motors, Filters, Accesories and Hoses). ● Capital Investment Plan and Cost Reductions projects Leader. ● Responsible products /projects rebalance to improve cost and efficiency. ● Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing (Value Stream Mapping) coordinator through production. ● Coordinator of new products development and production implementation on Reynosa. ● New components / products quotation management. ● Window to Design Engineering with Saint Louis, MO Head Quarters.
● Actively contribute to the plant strategic vision as part of the plant management team. ● Develop & monitor Business Plan, Budgets, PSI and P&L activities for Eng. ● Assist Plant Manager on track and evaluate continues improvement activity. ● Daily support and overview Eng. Linked activities with QC, Production, Purchasing and W/H. ● Create and manages projects to increase productivity and eliminate failure cost. ● Monitor and evaluate new projects design with PEDCA-KX Global Design Center. ● Manage Eng. KPI's to assure Customer Satisfaction requirements and ISO/TS16949. ● Perform Engineering Manager activities on US sites under Design Center / Customer needs. Products: Automotive Acoustic Systems (Ferrite, Neodymium, sound systems 2, 2.1, 5.1 and 7.1 Channels). Customers: Toyota, GM, Honda, Ford, NISSAN, Chrysler, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Mercedes and VW. More that 100 Customer lead audits in Plant (all above customer audits for inicial and News Project lunch time) More that 50 visits to suppliers (China, Japan, Canada, US and México). Support Customer lunch and Quality reviews at customer sites (above 40 visits) at above customers facilities over Canada, US and México.
● Manage Engineering activities for new/changes product implementation from RFQ until SOP. ● Control and Maintain the assembly fixtures/jigs MSA certification. ● BOM's maintenance on the MRP to assure new/change part ordering & avoid obsolescence. ● Control ISO/TS 16949 APQP stages for customer requirements compliance. ● Administrate cost reduction process for raw material.
