The Energy Manager monitors the organization's energy usage. Develops and implements practices and procedures designed to reduce energy consumption and/or improve efficiency of usage. Coordinate all aspects of energy management, from energy efficiency and reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. Research alternative/renewable energy technologies and determine their feasibility and cost-effectiveness. For bpost the Energy Manager manages and coordinates all energy related projects initiated within the company in order to reach the corporate energy and CO2 reduction targets (-35% CO2- reduction and -15% energy-reduction by 2012).
