SMC, Shell Mobility and Convenience, owns and operates all the company-owned Shell Mobility service stations and convenience stores in the USA and runs the Shell convenience retail franchise for the USA. SMC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shell but is set up and operated as an independent company. As the CEO, I am responsible for the strategy, including M&A, leading all functions, and am the P&L owner for the business, reporting to the board. SMC is growing through a series of acquisitions, most recently Brewer New Mexico, Texas Petroleum Group, and the Timewise convenience chain.

Shell Marine is one of the largest suppliers to the maritime industry globally, offering lubricants, chemicals and services to 20% of the worlds fleet ranging from the biggest container ship in Rotterdam to a small fisherman on the Yangtze river. Shell marine is present in 61 countries in 710 ports and works with over 160 distributors and 50 logistical partners together serving more than 10.000 vessels. I was the global P&L owner leading the organization across functions (sales, marketing, tech services, supply chain, digital) based out of Singapore.
