Film, Television and Media Studies graduate building a career as a producer and strategist across Film, TV and emerging formats, with hands-on experience across Spain and the United States. On the production side, I produced The Bear Beneath, an environmental documentary selected at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and honored by the Directors Guild of America, and co-founded UC3M’s first student-run radio station, building it from zero into a team of 100+. I also represented 25,000+ students as head of UC3M’s student government and sat on the university’s governing board. Most recently, I built the digital communications strategy at the Consulate General of Spain in New York. Alongside the production work, I focus on the strategy behind content: my bachelor thesis designed a full market-entry plan for a branded microdrama agency in the Spanish market, and I keep coming back to the same questions: audience and market research, budgeting, and how Spanish-language content and emerging formats fit into the global media industry.
- Selected through a highly competitive Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs grant to build and lead the Consulate's digital communications, reporting directly to the Consul General. - Launched the Consulate's first full digital communications strategy from scratch, spanning social media, website, and citizen-facing email; led the development of the Consulate's visitor communications plan for the FIFA World Cup 2026, adopted and distributed by several Spanish consulates across the United States. - Built partnerships with cultural and institutional organizations to promote Spain's culture and economic appeal across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Delaware. - Assisted Spanish citizens in consular emergency and protection cases, coordinating with U.S. authorities including the Department of Homeland Security, and supported the Visa department with visa processing.
- Took part in strategic decisions on academic policy, institutional planning, budget distribution, and quality assurance. - Reviewed proposals from faculties, centers, and administrative units to ensure they aligned with institutional priorities. - Worked with senior leadership on accountability standards and on oversight of the university's annual budget framework of more than €300M, balancing the interests of different stakeholders.
- Elected to the University Senate with the highest number of student votes in UC3M's history, serving as one of the main representatives of the university community. - Helped oversee university governance within UC3M's highest representative body, taking part in decisions on institutional strategy, regulations, and policy.
- Founded the university's first radio station and designed its programming model from scratch, building the weekly schedule and content lineup across multiple shows as a new platform for student creativity and campus engagement. - Planned monthly and weekly programming around themed strands, calendar events, and special broadcasts, coordinating the production, communication, and operations teams to deliver each grid on deadline. - Built and led a multidisciplinary team of more than 100 members and secured the station's funding, resources, and institutional backing, allocating limited resources creatively and cost-effectively to keep it running long term.
- Led UC3M's highest student governance body, representing more than 25,000 students and coordinating over 500 representatives across faculties and campuses. - Represented the student body on the university's top governing boards, bringing student perspectives into major university policies. - Directed multi-department teams and led initiatives that broadened participation and supported a more student-centered governance process.
- Represented UC3M at the national level in policy discussions affecting higher education. - Worked with ministry representatives to strengthen student participation frameworks.
