With over 25 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, I’ve gained broad experience across loan origination, structured finance, fund management, credit portfolio management and strategy. My journey included assigments in Chicago and London, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with and lead teams across multiple disciplines. I played a leading role in establishing a EUR 100+ asset distribution platform across various asset classes, using a range of distribution strategies, including cash and synthetic securitisations (SRT), covered bonds, and whole loan sales. I also played a key role in the launch of a fund to finance mortgages. Currently, as Head of Global Funding & Capital, I lead a global team dedicated to securing long-term funding and capital. We optimize the cost of funds, while supporting regulatory, liquidity and sustainability objectives. I addition, I serve on the Advisory Board of BPD Woningfonds, contributing to the expansion of affordable rental housing in the Netherlands. I thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy solving complex challenges by translating them into practical, strategic solutions.
Lead a team that secures Rabobank’s global access to long-term funding and capital, optimizes cost of funds, and supports regulatory and liquidity needs. We manage funding programs, execute market transactions, maintain investor and dealer relationships, and contribute to Rabobank’s sustainability goals through green funding. Additionally, I serve as a member of the Advisory Board of the BPD Woningfonds, supporting affordable rental housing in the Netherlands.
Coordinated strategic initiatives including Basel IV preparation and RWA steering, served as a subject matter expert on new business propositions, and oversaw Rabobank’s investment ticket in the BPD Woningfonds - supporting affordable rental housing growth - as a member of the Advisory Board
Managed a team of 20 professionals across Group Steering, Portfolio Steering, and Structured Asset Distribution. Co-designed Rabobank’s credit portfolio management function to elevate maturity across the Group; and established frameworks for asset allocation, performance management, and pricing policy simplification.
