Singapore
As a final-year student at Singapore Management University (SMU), I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (BSc: Information Systems), with expected graduation at the end of 2024. Throughout my studies, I have developed strong skills in web development, data analysis, and design thinking, applying these to solve real-world problems and deliver value to users and stakeholders. Currently, I am interning at Accenture as a developer, where I build scalable web applications and optimize backend systems. In this role, I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test solutions, gaining hands-on experience in software development, agile methodologies, and industry best practices. I am seeking full-time opportunities starting in January 2025, where I can further expand my skills in web development, data science, or product management. I am eager to contribute to innovative and impactful projects that align with my passion for technology and creating meaningful user experiences. I can be reached at [email protected].
• Developed high-performance, scalable transactional systems in Java using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Kafka, leveraging AWS (Lambda, ElastiCache, S3, Step Functions, Batch, RDS, MSK, Cloudwatch and X-Ray) in a distributed microservices architecture to deliver end to end cloud-native solutions • Streamlined data mappings using custom Spring Batch reader, optimising SQL query performance for scalable transactional systems, reducing processing time by 47.75% • Achieved 95% unit test coverage with JUnit, significantly enhancing code quality and reliability across microservices • Optimised AWS Lambda functions in Python, reducing memory usage by 50% and lowering operational costs by 50% • Investigated performance issues by analysing logs and enhanced message throughput by 34% in microservices architecture using Kafka, allowing for faster eventual consistency across services
