Academically, I proudly hold a BSc in Computer Science from the Open University of Catalonia, awarded in January 2022. Professionally, in recent years, I have redefined my career as a DevOps/NetOps Automation Engineer, accumulating over two years of experience. More precisely, I have been involved in developing and deploying network automation solutions using Red Hat's Ansible Automation Platform for a prominent client in the banking sector during my tenure at NTT-DATA Inc. My responsibilities at NTT-DATA included, but were not limited to, Network Automation through the Ansible Automation Platform, software development (primarily creating Ansible Python modules/collections), project management, GitOps & CI/CD, and coordinating agile development cycles. Additionally, I took charge of providing Ansible training to colleagues nationwide. Before this, I undertook various IT roles in multinational companies, encompassing Linux systems administration (a consistent aspect in many of my previous positions), senior Service-Desk analyst, and IT management in a small UK-based IT company, to name a few key roles. My core competencies span DevOps/NetOps automation, Linux server and network administration, software engineering, and project management. Furthermore, I have conducted multiple training sessions in Linux (RHCSA), Ansible, Python, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), virtualization (KVM, VMware), and Cisco (CCNA equivalent). During my free time, I contribute to the Ansible Community Forum, sharing knowledge and insights with other automation enthusiasts and DevOps professionals. I am passionate about acquiring new Computer Science skills and applying them to solve real-world problems, with a particular focus on Open-Source technologies. Currently, I am actively seeking opportunities to expand my experience and knowledge as a DevOps Automation Specialist, while remaining open to new challenges. Beyond my technical skills, I bring a highly organized and detail-oriented approach to my work. With a problem-solving mindset focused on fast and reliable troubleshooting, I am also a formidable team player with natural leadership qualities. My communication and collaboration capabilities, combined with excellent customer service skills, have always been the ace up my sleeve.
I'm currently on a break, dedicating my time to pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at the Open University of Catalonia. During this period, I'm actively working on certifications in areas like Linux Systems Administration (RHCSA / RHCE), Ansible, Terraform, and exploring cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. While my focus is on studies, I remain open to compelling job opportunities and am eager to take on new professional challenges.
