I am a process engineer with a background in Environmental Horticulture and Landscape Design, hands-on landscape design/build experience, and a deep connection to coastal New England’s working landscapes and waterfront communities. Before moving into process engineering, I built experience across high-end residential landscape architecture and design/build in places such as Montana, Nantucket, and New Hampshire’s Lakes Region. That work gave me a strong foundation in site design, plant systems, construction details, client communication, and the responsibility of working in ecologically and visually sensitive landscapes. I have also worked directly in outdoor and coastal industries, including fly fishing guiding, charter fishing, oyster farming, organic farming, and hospitality with Cisco Brewers Nantucket. Those experiences shaped the way I think about land, water, food systems, community, and the connection people feel to place. Today, I am building technical experience as a process engineer, where I am developing skills in manufacturing systems, quality, documentation, data-driven problem solving, and continuous improvement. I am interested in career paths that combine environmental stewardship, coastal resilience, ecological design, sustainable food systems, and community impact.
- Support process engineering activities in a specialized infrared detector and focal plane array manufacturing environment. - Build skills in process control, documentation, manufacturing quality, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. - Assist with technical problem-solving across fabrication, inspection, process repeatability, and production support. - Apply attention to detail and systems thinking to improve understanding, consistency, and execution of complex manufacturing processes.
- Led guest-facing outdoor experiences requiring safety awareness, local ecological knowledge, communication, and adaptability in changing field conditions. - Built strong client relationships through hospitality, education, and place-based outdoor expertise.
-Support landscape design and site planning for residential projects in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, with attention to client goals, site conditions, planting design, and construction implementation. -Prepare and revise design drawings, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and supporting documentation using AutoCAD and related design tools. -Collaborate with architects, clients, contractors, and field teams to coordinate landscape concepts with architectural design, site constraints, and construction sequencing. -Apply knowledge of environmental horticulture, plant selection, grading, drainage, and regional landscape character to create functional and visually cohesive outdoor spaces. -Contribute field-based design insight from prior hands-on construction and installation experience.
