Transforming the current data platform and team to an enabler for the data strategy. Building a team, community and way of working around analytics to support customers as well as internal employees. The team consists of 10 people in an international team and the overall analytics community is 35 people throughout Europe.
As member of the SL Technology Board, I led the architecture practice and managed the architecture team. Key responsibilities: • Lead the transformation towards a harmonized and digital first European EdTech player • Management of an IT and product development portfolio of 250 million Euro which implements the strategic direction throughout the countries. • 5 to 25 direct reports and directing 500+ employees throughout Europe
As member of the IT management team at DAF Trucks I introduced the architecture practice to supports DAF IT in: system renewal, collaboration with PACCAR IT and handling the strong economic cycles of the market. Key achievements: • Built a working architecture practice and aligned the European and North American IT organization supporting globalization and sales improvement • Team leader of the architecture team consisting of 10 members and directing 200+ employees
As an Enterprise Architect I translated the business goals into business-, information- and technical architecture models, roadmaps and project proposals, I guided projects to follow the strategic direction and supported them with designs contributing to the needs of the stakeholders.
I was working for three months as IT Architect at PACCAR to setup a global architecture practice, to encourage alignment between DAF and PACCAR and to provide architecture support to some huge strategic projects.
As Microsoft specialist I was developing software prototypes mainly based on Microsoft technology to support the pre-sales process of Infopulse. Examples of such solutions were: a sales solution based on Microsoft Commerce Server, an integration solution based on BizTalk and a data warehouse / Business Intelligence platform based on SQL Server. Additional to that I led the implementation project as technical project manager of the purchasing intelligence platform with an offshore development team based in the Ukraine.
