My name is Joost, and I would define myself as a motivated and creative team player that likes to think “outside the box”. After successfully graduating as a mathematical engineer in June 2021 and working for over 3 years for LanguageWire as an Application Support Engineer (production support and L2 support), I am now actively seeking my next opportunity as an Application Support/Technical Support or Data Analyst/Data Scientist. Using my broad work experience in support and data, I always try to approach things from all different perspectives. My experience include SQL, Python, Power BI, QA testing, incident management, Kibana Elastic Search, training, presenting, ISO standards. People I have worked with have praised me for my eye for detail, efficiency, positive mindset and my ability to make complex concepts easy to understand.
I help customers turn business challenges into concrete, practical solutions. As a Solution Area Specialist, I work closely with clients to analyze technical and business requirements, demonstrate cloud capabilities, and explain how cloud solutions (such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) can improve scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
In the Central Participation Council (CMR), I was the collocutor of the Executive Board of Fontys Hogescholen. My role in this was to checking policy, agreeing on certain topics and giving (unsolicited) advice. As part of this council, I have also been actively involved in the Quality Agreements and Sustainability committees. I also represented Fontys in the "Interstedelijk Student Overleg" (ISO), an organization that represents the general interests of nearly 750,000 students at universities and colleges.
