Confident, effective communicator and team-player are some of the words my colleagues would describe me. I was a journalist with TODAY Online, and have completed a digital marketing internship with Ruder Finn Asia, as well as another journalism internship with SPH magazines. I was also the vice-chairperson of my university's student's union, overseeing a team of six to launch campaigns to increase and maintain the following on our social media accounts. I am currently a penultimate student pursuing a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Public Policy & Global Affairs in Nanyang Technological University.

As a journalist for TODAY, I covered a range of stories from breaking news, current affairs, politics, business and profiles - all while under the cloud of COVID-19. These stories consisted of: • Wrote and contributed to over 30 published articles. • Coverage for GE2020, writing articles on the hustings, ground sentiments and profiles of the candidates. • Stories on the impacts of Covid-19 to businesses and to society, and on often-overlooked communities like migrant workers. • Profiles on up and coming change-makers in Singapore. • Updates for the public interest, such as announcements from the government.
Assisted the digital marketing team in social media campaigns with clients such as Hard Rock Hotels, Estée Lauder, RQAM and MCCY. Some of the things I did were: • Managed the Facebook page of SunnySideSG under MCCY. • Acted as the contact point between stakeholders in MCCY and interviewees. • Brainstormed copies for campaigns with Estée Lauder, RQAM and Hard Rock Hotels. • Conceptualised ideas for Estée Lauder, RQAM and Hard Rock Hotel campaigns. • Research and profiled KOLs to engage for the campaigns.
As an intern for The Peak, I contributed to writing small feature articles that were to be published in the magazine. I also wrote online articles, and turned some print articles into digital formats for our online sites. I assisted various teams in my publication in organising events, such as the Peak Power List 2015 gala and the Icon Ball 2016, and corresponded with the multiple stakeholders of the magazine.
