I worked as a healthcare assistant at St Peter's hospital in Chertsey. I assisted in patient care, working in a fracture clinic alongside doctors and nurses to provide the best possible care for the public. I help the doctors with organising patient notes, as well as assist patients with mobility and changing dressings on wounds and other health related activities. Occasionally I work on the wards, where I help feed, clean and provide general care and comfort to the patients. It is a very demanding job, testing me to the limit to help develop excellent communication skills, as well as compassion and empathy.
