As the founder and managing director of VoxEureka, I help organisations discover and shape their brand voice through inspired reputational storytelling. Since its inception in 2017, Vox has grown rapidly to a team comprising 80 consultants and creatives across offices in MY, SG & ID. Over the years, we have received industry recognition for our work and culture, including PRCA APAC's In-Market Consultancy of the Year 2023 and 2024, A+M Malaysia's PR Agency of Year in 2022, and Provoke Media's Top 10 fastest-growing agencies globally in 2022. In addition to VoxEureka, I also founded VX (formerly known as Vertixal), a digitally-driven digital marketing consultancy that serves as a sister company and conflict brand to VoxEureka. Through these ventures, my mission is to create a counter-cultural workspace for passionate storytellers to belong, grow, and thrive doing what they love most.

As of 2024, the agency has grown to 60 consultants and has recorded consistent double-digit revenue growth year-on-year. Due to the evolving nature of PR & communications, Jonathan founded VX - a digitally-driven marketing consultancy that would serve two roles: a sister company and conflict brand to VoxEureka, as well as an experimental vehicle to synergise technology with modern storytelling.
Following his wedding in Dec'16, Jonathan decided to take a sabbatical from corporate work to spend time in church ministry and other personal projects. He still took on the occasional editorial / consultancy job to earn some income.
Jonathan was hired by fast-growing Singapore boutique agency XPR to start up and build its Malaysian operations. He served as the market's co-lead and in-country client servicing lead, working alongside the pioneering team that built the agency until its acquisition by WPP's Cohn & Wolfe in 2012.
Jonathan remained on the leadership following Cohn & Wolfe's acquisition, and went on grow the agency's reputation as one of the best performing offices in the network. For his sustained success, he was promoted to Associate Managing Director in 2015.
Jonathan led the Malaysian office to consistent double-digit revenue growth, and at the time was Cohn&Wolfe's best financially-performing market in the APAC region. The team held a 90% retention rate for existing clients, and a 75% win rate in new business pitches. For this, Cohn&Wolfe Malaysia was recognized by The Holmes Report for its Southeast Asia PR Agency of the Year award 2015 and won Silver at Campaign Asia's SEA Agency of the Year Awards 2015. During his tenure at Cohn&Wolfe, Jonathan counseled a stellar portfolio of clients that included Facebook, BMW, Colgate-Palmolive, Dell, 11street, 3M, INTI University, Symantec and Munchy's.
