I am a Maritime Studies undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University, specialising in International Trade while pursuing a Minor in Business. I am particularly interested in the commercial side of shipping and commodities.
- Lead the society’s direction and oversee industry-facing initiatives, career talks, and networking sessions that connect students with professionals across shipbroking, chartering, trading, operations, and maritime services. - Reorganised committee roles and portfolio responsibilities to reduce overlap, improve ownership, and strengthen execution across Industry Relations, Events, and Publicity. - Represent MBS in discussions with industry partners, alumni, and advisors, supporting collaborations, student engagement opportunities, and external relationship-building. - Lead planning for the first Overseas Experiential Programme initiative in MBS history, including destination research and external outreach to expand members’ exposure to international maritime markets.
- Provide 1-on-1 tutoring in Primary School Math, helping students strengthen foundational concepts and problem-solving skills - Design customized lesson plans aligned with MOE syllabus and student learning needs - Track academic progress and adjust teaching strategies to support improvement - Communicate regularly with parents to share updates and feedback - Develop strong communication and time management skills while balancing work with studies

- Coordinated logistics, programme flow, and stakeholder liaison for the SIT Maritime Youth Exploration event at the Singapore Maritime Gallery, supporting student engagement with representatives from MPA, ASMI, and SMF. - Researched youth outreach ideas for SMG Phase 3, contributing to proposals on how Singapore’s maritime ecosystem and related services could be positioned to student audiences. - Conducted outreach to youth networks and schools to promote Singapore Maritime Gallery visits and programmes, strengthening stakeholder engagement and external communication. - Prepared contact lists, outreach materials, and planning decks in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support programme planning and stakeholder engagement.
