At Coolmath I am the Head of Product for CoolmathGames.com, Coolmath.com, and Coolmath4Kids.com, where I manage the websites' designs and content pipelines. I work alongside our CEO and development team to design, implement, test and refine enhancements for all of our digital properties. Sourced and licensed 1,000+ new games across our web properties. Led several initiatives to identify, test, and release new game genres on CoolmathGames.com. Developed and released all-new types of content on CoolmathGames.com, including brainteasers, trivia, and slideshows.
Increased the size of the game licensing and development team to get more done and branch out into new initiatives. Together we increased the rate at which we licensing and release more games, provided recommendations and advice to developers, increasing the success of licensed games, and began designing and developing original game concepts to build a library of first-party titles. Many of these first-party titles, like Copter Royale, Snake 3D, Hexanaut.io, Push Your Luck, and Coolmath's Hangman game remain some of the top performing titles on the site, with over 300 million gameplays combined. Managed the effort to replace Flash across our web properties by overseeing developers and teams who converted nearly 100 games to HTML5, by identifying and releasing flash emulators for other games, and minimizing user losses by recommending new games on the remaining games. Worked with hundreds of individual developers to update our games with new ad refresh APIs that dramatically improved game monetization.
Worked as the sole game licensor for CoolmathGames, licensing and releasing three games per week for the site. Migrated 5,000+ hand-coded pages to a new Drupal-based content management systems for CoolmathGames.com, Coolmath.com, and Coolmath4Kids.com. Released the highly rated (4.7/5 stars) Coolmath Games iOS App, our first mobile app, with over 200 of our best HTML5 games, and our Google Play app.
At Large Animal Games, I was the lead designer on small development teams producing high quality mobile and social games. Along with design efforts, I was the lead producer for several Scrum teams. I also defined, collected and analyzed game KPIs to optimize game performance, helped to market and promote our games, managed game communities, conducted e-mail campaigns, and more. Key Projects: Lucky Cruise A world-travel themed social casino game with over 3 million lifetime players. Character Cards Developed in partnership with NBCUniversal, this was asynchronous head-to-head iOS card game featuring characters from favorite NBC and USA TV shows. Picturiffic A hangman-style puzzle game on Facebook where a picture is the hidden clue! Kombat Kittens A fast-paced Kitten combat game for 3-5 players. At To Be Continued, I consulted on the design and development of hit board and card games, authored white papers on digital and physical games. My key projects were the Chaotic TCG, a multiplatform character battling collectible card game that could be played with physical cards or through a web browser, and the board game adaptation of the popular Twilight book and movie series.
